I took out the air-filter today just to see what difference it made. Top speed increased. I think IŽll go down to 135 or 132,5 in the main-jet, get a just bit bigger pilot-jet, and have another airfilter which has better flow. That UNI foam filter youŽre talking about, do they come in the same shapes as K&N? How did you get the room to clamp the filter directly on the carb? DoesnŽt it take a very small filter to do that? I was thinking of getting quite a big K&N filter and mount it on the side of the bike somewhere around where the air-box and battery-cover is right now. And of course a L-shaped tube of some sort, just as you had, clamped on the carb, and then the filter clamped on that tube.
Do you know what the difference is between raising the needle and getting a slightly bigger main-jet?
